Second Stage Round 1: NH Ostrava - Sokol Prazsky 90-80

Ostrava used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Praha 90-80 on Sunday night. NH Ostrava made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Sokol Prazsky turnovers. Swingman Simon Cermak (192-2006) stepped up and scored 31 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Jakub Mrstak (179-2006) chipped in 29 points and 6 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). At the losing side forward Jakub Kristan (201-2006) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Tomas Zronek scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Sokol Prazsky players scored in double figures. Ostrava will meet Decin on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sokol Prazsky will play against Tygri Brno and hope to secure a win.
